Hours of Work: Varies (Wed, 5pm-7:30pm/Thurs, lpm-3:30pm/5pm-7:30pm) Salary: $28.70/hour
Family Counselling Centre is an established community-based agency providing counselling services to Sarnia and Lambton area since 1955. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic team player to work as a Partner Assault Response (PAR) Program Facilitator in a casual position.
The PAR Facilitator is responsible for providing direct group work service to clients in accordance with agency policy and PAR program standards. The PAR program runs for 12 weeks, twice a year.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
• To co-facilitate group sessions.
• To liaise with appropriate professionals to ensure that safety issues and breach of court orders are
dealt with directly and without delay.
• To maintain records and statistics in accordance with agency/PAR Program standards.
• To participate in summary meetings with the PAR Program Co-ordinator.
• To maintain up-to-date knowledge about the range of services provided by the agency and by other community service providers.
• To check and monitor homework completion.
« To maintain regular contact with the PAR Program Co-ordinator regarding group and individual concerns.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• A post secondary College diploma with relevant training and experience.
• Possess or be able to possess a current satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Police Check is required (not older than 6 months).
