Quality Assurance Coordinator

Title: Quality Assurance Coordinator Reports to: Executive Director Location: Sarnia ON

Position Type: Full-time permanent Hours of Work: 35 hours/week

Office Operation ilours: Mon    Fri, 9am-5pm Salary range: $52,223 86 - $69,484.47

Under the direct supervision of the Executive Director, we are seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Coordinator to ensure the highest standards of program delivery within Family Counselling Centre. In this role, you will play a vital part in evaluating, monitoring, and enhancing the effectiveness of our services, ensuring compliance with best practices and regulatory requirements. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

•          Review reports/files to identify emerging issues and compare notes for accuracy/compliance.

•         Monitor adherence to organizational policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements; ensuring program(s) standards and requirements are being met.

•         Provide written feedback, and request edits from staff as needed.

•         Communicate findings and recommendations to management regarding ongoing non-compliance

issues.

•         Maintain related records and statistics and produce reports as required.

•         Ensure confidentiality and data protection protocols are followed.

•         Participate in professional development opportunities as required. This will be done within the financial restraint of the program(s) and in consultation with the program manager.

•         Provide ongoing support to staff as needed.

•         Complete any additional duties not outlined above, as deemed necessary.

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

•         Must possess relevant experience working with vulnerable individuals.

•         Proficiency in English is required; French language skills are considered an asset.

•         Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communications skills.

•         Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in reviewing documentation.

•         Ability to work independently as well as part of a team focused on achieving quality objectives.

*Possess a valid negative Vulnerable Sector Police Check.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

 »    Completed or in the process of completing post-secondary program in a related human/social services field or equivalent experience
