The purpose of the Children’s Autism Spectrum Disorder Respite funding is to provide temporary relief from the physical and emotional demands involved with caring for a child with ASD and/or to enhance the respite services that you may already receive. In order to be considered for 2021-2022 ASD funding, this request must be received by Family Counselling Centre on or before 12:00 noon on Monday June 28, 2021. Requests must be submitted by mail, drop box, or fax. E-mail will not be accepted. Eligible children must reside in Lambton County. If your child is turning 18 years of age before March 31, 2022, funding can be provided up to and includingthe month of your child’s birthday. Documentation of an ASD diagnosis must beprovided to Family Counselling Centre to be considered.
